St Dominic's Priory Junior Chess team competed this year in the School Chess League and made it to the last 16 out of 49 schools. Saturday they competed in the playoffs of the Nelson Mandela Bay School Chess Championship and ended 4th in their pool but unfortunately missed out on a semi-final place.
