St Dominic's Priory High School is an independent Catholic school that offers
all-round academic, spiritual and physical education to boys and girls. 
St Dominic’s serves the Catholic Community, but welcomes learners from all
denominations and faiths.  All learners have Religious Education lessons and
receive moral training based on the teachings of Christ. Retreats and days of
recollection are held.

 The educational programme at St Dominic's Priory High School is based on the
following objectives:

• to create an environment in which learners feel free to explore their
  world, to challenge ideas and to realise their own worth
• to allow learners to achieve their potential according to individual ability
• to enable learners to become aware of their personal Christian responsibility
  and thus enable them to make sound moral judgements based on the
  teachings of Christ
• to help learners understand Gospel values, with particular reference to
  their own situation
• to create an atmosphere of enthusiasm wherein education leads to a
  deepening and sharing of  knowledge, wisdom and truth
• to help learners to come to know Christ so as to give meaning to their lives.
